Biography
André Hodeir worked in the film industry as a conductor and original music composer. In 1953, Hodeir served as conductor for the film Statues Also Die. The role involved leading musical arrangements and performances for the film’s soundtrack and score. Hodeir’s work in this capacity contributed to the film’s aural presentation, aligning musical elements with the visual narrative.
In 1959, Hodeir composed the original music for Come Dance with Me!. As composer, Hodeir created the film’s musical themes and cues, shaping the film’s emotional tone and rhythm. The music served as an integral part of the film’s structure, supporting scenes and character interactions.
