Avinash Arun

Avinash Arun is a cinematographer based in the Indian film industry. Born on November 20, 1985 in Solapur, Maharashtra, Arun works across Hindi cinema as a director of photography. Arun contributed to the visual language of Karwaan in 2018, serving as its director of photography.

Arun’s work extends beyond cinematography into direction. Earlier in Arun’s career, Arun made the transition to directing with a Marathi feature, Killa, which received recognition at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film was awarded a Crystal Bear by the children’s jury at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival. Killa also earned a national award for best feature film in Marathi at the 62nd National Film Awards.
