Bert Stevens, born Malcolm Byron Stevens on February 26, 1905, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, USA, was an American actor known for his extensive uncredited roles in cinema. He was the older brother of actress Barbara Stanwyck, born Ruby Catherine Stevens.
Stevens began his acting career in the late 1930s, appearing in films such as "Stella Dallas" (1937) and "Union Pacific" (1939). He continued to work steadily throughout the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, often playing bit parts and background characters. Some of his notable appearances include "Citizen Kane" (1941), "Ball of Fire" (1941), "I Married a Witch" (1942), "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955), and "The Sound of Music" (1965). His final film credit was in "Pocketful of Miracles" (1961). Stevens passed away on December 14, 1964.
