He is known for his work in the film industry, particularly for his roles in "Greed" (1924) as Popper Sieppe and "I Married a Witch" (1942) as a Party Bartender (uncredited). Conklin started his film career at Keystone Studios, where he was part of Mack Sennett's Keystone Cops. He often appeared alongside Mack Swain and worked closely with Charlie Chaplin in both silent and sound films.
