Claude Coats was born on January 17, 1913 in San Francisco, California, USA. Coats worked in the field of art, contributing to animated films through background design. Among Coats’ credited film projects is the 1938 production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, where Coats served as a Background Designer. Later, Coats contributed Conceptual Design to the 1953 film Peter Pan.
