Nishio's career spans over three decades, with his first credited role as a director in the 1989 film "Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone." He went on to direct several other Dragon Ball Z movies, including "Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might" and "Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest," both released in 1990.
