Biography
Dan Schrecker is a visual effects supervisor whose work spans major studio productions. In 2010, Schrecker contributed to Black Swan as visual effects supervisor, overseeing the integration of digital enhancements to support the film’s psychological and surreal elements. The same year, Schrecker held the same role on Just Wright, where visual effects were used to refine scenes and improve continuity.
Schrecker later supervised visual effects for Don’t Worry Darling in 2022, working on sequences that required seamless integration of digital environments and effects to enhance the film’s narrative tension. Earlier in their career, Schrecker worked on Pi in 1998, contributing to the film’s technical visual effects, which played a key role in its atmospheric and experimental style.
