Daniel Clowes

He is best recognized for adapting his own graphic novels into feature films. Clowes' notable works in cinema include his screenplay for "Ghost World" in 2001, which was an adaptation of his own graphic novel of the same name. He also served as a screenwriter for "Art School Confidential," another adaptation of his graphic novel. In addition to his writing credits, Clowes has made appearances in films such as "Maggie's Plan" in 2016, where he was thanked in the credits. His most recent film credit is for "Eddington" in 2025, in which he played the role of Frankie Salmone.
