Born in Nairobi, Kenya on January 26, 1949, Roy has worked across multiple roles in film, often credited under variations of his name including Mohinder Purba and Roy Deep. In acting, Roy is best known for portraying the Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and voicing General Bonesapart in Corpse Bride. Roy also appeared as Droopy McCool in Return of the Jedi and Keenser in Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond. Earlier in Roy’s career, they stood in for stand-ins in The Empire Strikes Back and performed stunts in Hook.
