Biography
Denise Lynne Roberts was born on July 5, 1961. Working behind the scenes in film production, Roberts was credited in the stunt department for two major productions. In 1995, Roberts contributed to the stunt coordination for Strange Days, a science fiction thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Two years later, in 1997, Roberts performed stunts for Titanic, James Cameron’s epic drama set aboard the ill-fated ocean liner.
Roberts died on March 22, 2003. The cause of death was cancer. Her work in stunts placed her among the unsung professionals who execute physically demanding sequences that shape the visual and kinetic language of action-driven films.
