Dennis Weaver

Dennis Weaver was an American actor active in the film industry. Born on June 4, 1924 in Joplin, Missouri, USA, Weaver worked primarily in cinema and television throughout his career. Among his credited film roles is the 2004 animated feature Home on the Range, in which Weaver provided the voice of the character Abner.

Weaver also appeared in the 1971 film Duel, portraying the lead character David Mann. The film, a thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, marked one of Weaver’s notable performances in a narrative feature.
