Dick Durock

Dick Durock, born on January 18, 1937, in South Bend, Indiana, USA, was an American actor and stuntman known for his extensive work in film and television. He passed away on September 17, 2009. Durock's acting career spanned over eight decades, with notable appearances in more than eighty films and over seven hundred television episodes. He gained significant recognition for portraying the titular character, Swamp Thing, in both the feature films "Swamp Thing" and "The Return of Swamp Thing." Additionally, Durock's filmography includes the 1986 coming-of-age drama "Stand by Me," in which he played the role of Bill Travis.
