Biography
Dick Mingalone is credited as a camera operator on two 1996 releases, The Mirror Has Two Faces and Before and After. In these roles Mingalone operated the camera, working within the department responsible for capturing moving images on set. The work involved executing the visual plan set by the director and director of photography, including framing, movement, and exposure choices for scenes.
Earlier in their career, Mingalone served as director of photography on the 1977 animated feature Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure!. In this capacity Mingalone oversaw the photographic aspects of the production, including lighting, color, and camera work tailored to the film’s animated style.
