Biography
Don Edmonds was born on September 1, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He was a film director and producer, known for his work in the exploitation and cult film genres. Edmonds' most notable work is 'Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS' (1975), which he directed. The film is a cult classic and is considered one of the most notorious examples of the women-in-prison subgenre. Edmonds also served as a co-producer for the 1993 film 'True Romance', directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino. Edmonds passed away on May 30, 2009.
