Donald Petrie

Donald Petrie, born on April 2, 1954, in New York City, is an American film director and actor. He began his career in the late 1970s, making his debut as an actor in the 1979 film 'H.O.T.S.', playing the role of Doug. Petrie transitioned to directing in the 1990s, helming 'Opportunity Knocks' in 1990. He gained significant recognition in the 2000s for directing the romantic comedy 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' in 2003, starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.
