Among her credited appearances was Christie Johnstone in 1921, where Vernon played Widow McKay. Her later work included minor but memorable parts in Bride of Frankenstein (1935) as a maid, To Be or Not to Be (1942) as a member of the audience during a performance of Hamlet, and Monsieur Beaucaire (1946) as a servant.
