Dušan Kovačević

Dušan Kovačević, born on July 12, 1948, in Mrđenovac, Šabac, is a Serbian playwright, scriptwriter, and film director. He is renowned for his contributions to the film industry, particularly in the former Yugoslavia. Kovačević's work is predominantly recognized in the realm of theatre plays and movie scripts. One of his notable cinematic works is the 1995 film 'Underground', for which he served as the story writer. This film, directed by Emir Kusturica, is among the most well-known in the region.
