In 1956, Gibbs served as wardrobe master for Wicked as They Come. Their work on the film involved organizing and overseeing the wardrobe department’s contributions to the production’s aesthetic. Gibbs later held the same role on Modesty Blaise in 1966, ensuring the costumes aligned with the film’s stylistic and functional needs. The scope of their responsibilities included sourcing materials, coordinating fittings, and maintaining continuity across scenes.
