Franco Corsaro was an American actor born in New York City on August 19, 1900. Corsaro appeared in two films during his career, both credited roles. In 1943’s Casablanca, Corsaro played a French police officer in an uncredited part. The film remains a classic of American cinema, though Corsaro’s contribution was minor and unheralded at the time. His only other known screen credit came in 1949’s Black Magic, where Corsaro portrayed a character named Chico.
Little is recorded about Corsaro beyond these brief appearances. Both films were produced in the United States, and Corsaro’s roles were small, suggesting he worked primarily in supporting or background capacities.
