Franklin Milton worked in film sound and recording supervision during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Born on August 19, 1907 in Carthage, Missouri, United States, Milton contributed to major productions in the sound department. In 1959, Milton served as Recording Supervision for Ben-Hur. He continued in a similar role for Mutiny on the Bounty in 1962, this time credited as Sound Supervisor. That same year, Milton returned to Recording Supervision for Sweet Bird of Youth and The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. His work focused on managing audio capture and quality control during production and post-production for these films.
