George Memmoli was an American actor born on August 3, 1938 in New York City, New York, USA. Also known as George T. Memmoli Jr., Memmoli appeared in two films during his career. In 1973, Memmoli portrayed Joey 'Clams' Scala in Mean Streets, a film directed by Martin Scorsese. The role was a small but notable part in the crime drama. In 1976, Memmoli appeared as the Ice Rink Attendant in Rocky, a sports drama directed by John G. Avildsen.
Memmoli’s work in Mean Streets and Rocky marked his presence in early 1970s American cinema. Though his roles were brief, they contributed to the ensemble casts of films that became culturally significant. Memmoli died on May 20, 1985.
