Gilberto Gil

Gilberto Gil was born on June 26, 1942 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Gil appears in the film Beijoqueiro: Portrait of a Serial Kisser, contributing archival footage as Self. The production is a documentary portrait released in 1992.

Gil served as Music Producer for Acústico MTV, a music television series released in 1994. The series presented live performances and studio recordings, with Gil overseeing the musical direction.
