Jacques Dugied was born on May 13, 1926 in Paris, France. Dugied worked in the film industry, contributing to the visual and artistic aspects of productions. In 1965, Dugied served as the Set Decorator for The Gendarme in New York, a role focused on designing and dressing the physical environments in which the film's scenes were set. The position required attention to period details, spatial arrangement, and the cohesive integration of props to support the film’s narrative.
In 1967, Dugied worked as an Art Department Assistant on The Exchange Student.
