Alonzo's skillful camera work was also evident in "Norma Rae" (1979), another film he lensed. One of his most acclaimed works was "Scarface" (1983), a crime drama directed by Brian De Palma. Alonzo's ability to capture the essence of each scene, whether it was a dramatic moment or an intense action sequence, was a testament to his versatility and mastery of his craft. He passed away on March 13, 2001.
