John Norton contributed to animated and live-action films in the story and visual development departments. Norton is credited as a story contributor on the animated feature Brother Bear, released in 2003. The role involved crafting narrative elements that shaped the film’s themes and character arcs.
Norton’s work extended to visual development, serving as a concept artist on the 1982 live-action film Tron. In this capacity, Norton helped design the film’s iconic visual style and technological aesthetics. Norton also contributed to storyboarding on A Goofy Movie in 1995, translating narrative beats into sequential visual plans for animation.
