Josif Tatić, born on April 13, 1946, in Novi Sad, Serbia, is a Serbian actor known for his contributions to the film industry. He began his acting career with notable roles in Serbian cinema. Tatić's most recognized performances include his portrayal of Slobodan Mihajlovic in "Šovinistička farsa" and Bozidar Soldatović Jataganc in "Bolji Život" ("Better Life"). He also played the character of Tanasije Vitorović in "Grlom u Jagode".
Tatić's international recognition came through his roles in two prominent films. In Emir Kusturica's "Underground" (1995), he played the character of a Police Inspector.
