Among his credited appearances, Omen portrayed Jamis in the 1984 science-fiction epic Dune, a film noted for its ambitious world-building and ensemble cast. The same year, Omen took on the role of The Nicaraguan Captain in the action thriller Red Dawn, a film centered on a group of young survivors resisting invasion in a near-future America.
