Augusta appeared in All My Good Countrymen, released in 1969, where they played Joža Trňa, zedník. The film, set in a rural village, follows the lives of its inhabitants during and after World War II, and Augusta’s portrayal contributed to the ensemble cast’s depiction of community and hardship. A decade later, in 1981, Augusta took the role of Hospodský Trompetr in The Krakonos and the Skiers, a film blending folklore and winter sports.
