Karel Smrž, born on November 2, 1922, was a Czech film industry professional known for his work as a set decorator. His career spanned at least two decades, with his earliest credited work being in 1970. Smrž's notable contributions include "Witchhammer," a 1970 film directed by Otakar Vávra, where he served as the set decorator. He continued his work in the industry, also serving as the set decorator for "The Krakonos and the Skiers," a 1981 film directed by Jiří Trnka.
