Their notable contributions include "Princess Mononoke" (1997), "My Neighbor Totoro" (1988), and "Porco Rosso" (1992), all directed by the acclaimed Hayao Miyazaki. Ota's distinctive style and attention to detail have been instrumental in creating the immersive worlds of these iconic animated films. They have continued to make significant contributions to the industry, serving as the background designer for "Mary and The Witch's Flower" (2017), "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway" (2021), and "K-ON!
