Koichi Usami is a Japanese animation artist credited in key animation roles for three feature films. Born on March 24, 1959 in Osaka, Japan, Usami contributed to the visual development of animated works through key animation assignments.

In 2000, Usami worked on Digimon: The Movie as a key animator, assisting in the execution of animated sequences for the feature-length compilation. A decade later, Usami provided key animation for Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: -A Wakening of the Trailblazer-, contributing to the film’s animation production process. Earlier in their career, Usami served as a key animator on the 1991 release Silent Möbius, participating in the animation department’s efforts for the film.
