Kyle Sweet worked in the fields of costume and makeup for motion pictures. Born on July 26, 1956, Sweet contributed to the visual design of films through specialized work in makeup artistry. In 1984, Sweet served as a makeup artist on The Terminator, a science-fiction action film. Two years later, Sweet again worked in makeup for Night of the Creeps, a horror-comedy release.
Sweet was also credited under the names Kyle Rae and Kyle Rae Tucy, as well as Kyle Tucy, during the period of these film credits. The makeup department plays a key role in shaping a film’s look by creating prosthetics, aging effects, and other transformations that support storytelling. Sweet’s involvement in these two films represents the extent of the documented filmography available. Sweet died on March 5, 2009.
