Biography
Laura Schiavo is a makeup and hair artist active in the film industry. Schiavo’s documented contributions began in 2004 with the film Stratosphere Girl, where they worked in the makeup and hair department. Their role involved styling and preparing performers for on-screen appearances, a task requiring precision and collaboration with other departments to align with the film’s visual requirements.
Schiavo continued in the same department for Babylon A.D., a 2008 science fiction action film. In this project, they contributed to the makeup and hair design, ensuring continuity and supporting the film’s aesthetic through character transformations and styling choices. Their work contributed to the film’s overall presentation, aligning performers’ appearances with the production’s visual style.
