Biography
Lorna Cook is an animator and director with credits across major American animation studios. Cook has contributed to animated features as a storyboard artist, including Thanks for How to Train Your Dragon and Additional Storyboarding for The Wild Robot. Their work has appeared in films produced by DreamWorks, Universal, and Sullivan Bluth Studios, as well as Disney.
Cook’s directing credits include Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature and won four Annie Awards. The film’s recognition highlights Cook’s involvement in key animated productions during their career. Their role in storyboarding and additional creative development has been part of notable animated releases in the 2000s and 2010s.
