Biography
Lorna McGowan is a makeup and hair artist known for contributing to several notable films in the early 2000s. McGowan worked in the makeup department on Children of Men, a 2006 dystopian thriller directed by Alfonso Cuarón. Earlier, McGowan served as a makeup artist on Love Actually, a 2003 romantic comedy directed by Richard Curtis. McGowan also held the same role on Bridget Jones's Diary, a 2001 romantic comedy directed by Sharon Maguire, and on About a Boy, a 2002 comedy-drama directed by Chris and Paul Weitz. In addition, McGowan was a makeup artist on The Eagle, a 2011 historical drama directed by Kevin Macdonald.
