Lyudmila Lobanova was born on January 23, 1949. Lobanova worked in the film industry, contributing to animated productions during the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1979, Lobanova was part of the team behind the animated short Scary Story, which focused on visual storytelling through animation techniques. The film’s approach reflected the craft’s role in adapting narratives into motion and color.

Two years later, in 1981, Lobanova contributed to the animated film Cat Kotofeyevitch. The production continued the trend of using animation to convey character and environment, a method central to animated filmmaking. Lobanova’s involvement in these projects placed them among the professionals shaping animated sequences in cinema during that period.
