Mari Mashiba, born on November 21, 1959, in Gunma, Japan, is a prominent figure in the Japanese film industry. She is known for her work as a voice actress, with a notable career spanning over two decades. Mashiba's real name is Mariko Sugiura, and she is affiliated with Production Baobab.
Mashiba's most recognized role is her voice acting in the popular anime series "Crayon Shin-Chan." She voiced the character of Tōru Kazama, a major character in the series. Her work in "Crayon Shin-Chan: The Hidden Treasure of the Buri Buri Kingdom" (1994) and "Crayon Shin-Chan: Unkokusai's Ambition" (1995) has been particularly notable. Additionally, she lent her voice to the character of a child at a candy store in the live-action film "Colorful" (2010).
