Biography
Martin Vačkář is credited in the art department across multiple international productions, contributing to the visual design of films. In 2008, Vačkář served as Art Director for Wanted, a film known for its stylized action sequences and production design. The role involved overseeing the aesthetic and spatial elements of sets, props, and environments to support the film’s narrative and tone.
In 2015, Vačkář returned to the art department as Art Director for Child 44, a crime thriller set in the Soviet era. The work required creating period-accurate settings that reflected the film’s historical context while maintaining functional spaces for the story.
