Biography
Mary Burton worked in film as a makeup artist and head of the makeup department. Burton contributed to the visual design of several productions, handling makeup and related tasks. Among Burton’s credited roles was as a makeup artist on the 1994 live-action adaptation of The Flintstones, where makeup helped define the appearance of characters in a comedic prehistoric setting.
Burton later served as head of the makeup department for the 2006 film Miami Vice, overseeing the department’s work on a crime drama set in a modern, stylized environment.
