Mathilde Casadesus was born on May 5, 1921, in Paris, France. In the early 1950s, Casadesus appeared in two French films that became part of her credited filmography. In Le Plaisir (1952), she took the supporting role of Madame Louise, also credited as Cocotte, contributing to the ensemble cast of the period drama. Her performance added texture to the film’s depiction of pleasure and society under the Second Empire.
Three years later, Casadesus returned to the screen in Gervaise (1956), playing Mme Boche, the curious concierge.
