Biography
Motoji Kojima worked in the film industry as a production designer and art director. Kojima’s contributions to production design are documented in four films from the late 1940s and early 1970s. In Phoenix, Kojima handled production design, establishing the visual framework of the film. The Portrait, released the following year, also featured Kojima’s production design work, contributing to the film’s aesthetic presentation.
Kojima later transitioned to art direction, taking charge of the visual environment in The Wolves. The film’s art direction reflects Kojima’s role in shaping the film’s atmosphere through set design and spatial arrangement.
