Their role centers on visual storytelling, translating narrative concepts into sequential artwork that guides the development of scenes and characters. In 2014, Nedelcu served as a Story Artist on The Boxtrolls, contributing to the film’s distinctive stop-motion aesthetic. They continued in this capacity on Mary Poppins Returns in 2018, applying their skills to a live-action musical fantasy.
