He began his career as an editor, contributing to the editing of the iconic slasher film "Scream" in 1996 and its sequel "Scream 2" in 1997. Lussier then transitioned into directing, serving as the second unit director for the 2005 horror film "Cursed". He also ventured into production, taking on the role of executive producer for "The Poughkeepsie Tapes" in 2007. Most recently, Lussier directed the 2022 horror film "Play Dead".
