Peter Whitney was born on May 24, 1916, in Long Branch, New Jersey. Whitney worked in the film industry, contributing to several productions with supporting roles. One of Whitney’s earliest credited appearances was in the 1946 film Three Strangers, where they played Timothy Delaney, also known by the nickname Gabby. The film, a crime drama, featured Whitney in a minor but recognizable part, contributing to the ensemble cast.
Whitney later appeared in the 1962 fantasy film The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm, taking on the role of The Giant. The film, centered on the storytelling of the Brothers Grimm, provided Whitney with a distinct character role within its narrative. Their presence in these films represents a small but documented contribution to mid-20th-century cinema.
