Ramesh Deo, born on January 30, 1929 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India, is a renowned figure in the Indian film industry. Known for his extensive work in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, Deo has appeared in over 285 Hindi films and 190 Marathi films throughout his career. His notable works include the Hindi film 'Anand' (1971), in which he portrayed the character of Dr. Prakash Kulkarni. Apart from acting, Deo has also ventured into production, with credits including feature films, television serials, and over 250 ad films. His contributions to the Marathi stage are equally significant, with over 200 showings in dramas.
