Richard Tyler worked in film sound post-production as a sound re-recording mixer, a role focused on balancing and finalizing audio elements for release prints. In this capacity, Tyler contributed to the soundtrack assembly of two feature films. In 1980, Tyler served as the Sound Re-Recording Mixer for Caddyshack, handling dialogue, effects, and music tracks during the final mix stage. The film’s comedic golf-course setting required careful layering of ambient sounds and score to support the on-screen action.
