He is renowned for his significant contributions to the Star Trek franchise, serving as a writer for "Star Trek: Generations" (1994) and co-writing the story for "Star Trek: First Contact" (1996). Moore's work extends beyond Star Trek, as he also executive produced the science fiction series "Virtuality" (2009). His notable television work includes serving as the showrunner and executive producer for the critically acclaimed reimagined "Battlestar Galactica" series, for which he won a Peabody Award. More recently, Moore has been involved in the production of the television series "Outlander," based on the novels of Diana Gabaldon.
