Biography
Ryoichi Fukuyama is credited in the production management department for three animated films produced by Studio Ghibli. In 2008, Fukuyama served as Production Manager on Ponyo, a fantasy film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The role involved overseeing logistical and operational aspects of the film’s production, ensuring coordination among departments during the film’s creation.
In 2011, Fukuyama again worked as Production Manager on From Up on Poppy Hill, another Studio Ghibli production directed by Miyazaki and co-directed by Gorō Miyazaki. The film’s production required managing resources and schedules to support its animated storytelling.
