Sami Buccella

Sami Buccella is a bass player and composer based in New York whose work extends into film and media through music composition. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Buccella’s background in music and film began in that city before moving to New York. Their career has included composing for film and media, as well as performing and writing for bands internationally.

Buccella has contributed to over 30 projects across music and film, including a role as Music Consultant for the 2011 film ¡Vivan las Antipodas!. Their involvement in cinema has centered on creating and advising on musical elements that support the filmmaking process. The work reflects a crossover between performance, composition, and cinematic collaboration.
