Sheila Trujillo is an American makeup artist and makeup department head based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Trujillo’s work in film has centered on practical makeup application and department coordination, contributing to the visual execution of productions. Trujillo served as a makeup artist on The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), a Western anthology film directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, where makeup played a role in establishing character appearances and period details.
In 2024, Trujillo took on the role of makeup department head for Hold Your Breath, a horror film that required specialized makeup effects for its narrative.
